As skin ages it loses elasticity, and fine lines and wrinkles caused by everyday facial expressions become more permanent over time. Anti-wrinkle injections are injected into specific skin muscles causing them to contract, creating an instant, more youthful, and smoother appearance. Treatments work on the specific muscles injected and leave the surrounding muscles to function, as usual, maintaining a natural facial expression. As well as being used to reverse the ageing process on the face, it can aid with migraines and underarm sweating. The full effects of the treatment are visible after 10-14 days and last 6 – 8 months.
